Welcome to classroomtechknowledgey.com! I’ve been teaching high school Spanish in rural Maine for 5 years. Even though we’re a rural school, we’ve had one-to-one computing for students since 2009. I’m continually trying to integrate the laptops and technology into my classes. In that short time, I’ve had my share of successes and frustrations when it comes to technology integration. I’m still learning and my views about technology are still evolving, but I believe that technology integration should:
-improve learning
-accomplish something that wasn’t possible without it.
-prepare students for life after high school.
-encourage both higher level learning and basic knowledge.

I’ve created this blog in order to reflect on my technology integration in a more meaningful way. I also want to share my reflections with other teachers and create a dialogue about incorporating technology into our curriculum.I hope you enjoy reading the blog and find it useful.
